The auditions are complete, the cast list is posted, costumes are being fitted, and rehearsals have begun! Although it is only the beginning of October, Christmas comes early for dancers of Opus II Dance Studio and Ashland Regional Ballet. We are so excited to be preparing for a holiday favorite, The Nutcracker! We have had the honor of sharing this production with the Ashland community since 1992 (the 100th anniversary of the ballet itself). This will be ARB's 33rd annual The Nutcracker, taking place December 14 at 2:00p.m. and 7:30p.m. and December 15 at 2:00p.m. Located in the Archer Auditorium at Ashland High School, ARB will bring Clara's dream to life on-stage. This performance is the perfect afternoon or night out with family to begin your holiday festivities. Children have the opportunity to take photos with a real-life ballerina in our lobby before the show, view our amazing display of holiday decor, and browse our merchandise table of signed pointe shoes, ornaments, apparel and more.
