Opus II Dance Studio presented its first Choreography Showcase in 1988. 27 years later the creativity is going stronger than ever.
The first showcase came about when Opus II Dance Studio resided at 19 East Third Street (Ashland). It was born at a studio sleepover when the eager young dancers spent the entire night creating their own dances. Their work was a delight and it convinced me that our dancers wanted a chance to express themselves. And so they have it. The choreographers are responsible for all aspects of their dances - casting, music choices, rehearsals, costuming. Some are taking their first steps as choreographers. Other have presented work in past showcases. All have the courage to learn by doing and to stand up and be counted. You never know what to expect at our Choreography Showcase, but one thing you can count on. It will ALWAYS be interesting. - Opus Rehearsal Hall on 2nd Street in Ashland.
- General Seating – Tickets at the door while supplies last - $10 adults, $8 students & sr. citizens.
